Embrace your Body Type, Look Beautiful YOUR Style

Everyone has a different body type and having body types that make you look UNFIT can be extremely frustrating! 



In this post, tippersonlife will teach you how to dress up so as to suit your body type. Well, although workouts and dieting habits work... they take a while. So this is perfect for last minute events ;)
We'll be addressing mainly the Curvy Women and the Slim Women and Skinny Women in this post. Don't worry girls -- if you need any tips for your unique body type, feel free to ask us on our facebook/insta accounts! ;)


For "The Curvy" 

Tip 1: Wear Straight cut dresses! 

This helps to create an illusion that makes your body look proportionate. If your body is pear-shaped (bigger hips), then this is the great way to go to hide them hips!



Tip 2: Dare to wear a Maxi dress!
Wear a belt along your waist to elongate your body and at the same time, make you look like you have longer legs. What a slim and elegant look!



Tip 3: Wear tops that extends in length to the mid-hip area. 
This will help to create an illusion of a longer and leaner body, making your overall look appear slim! 


AVOID WEARING SHORT TOPS!

Showing your hips will make your lower body appear bigger, not something you wanna go in this case!


Tip 4: Small prints over large prints! 
Large prints would cause an illusion of a bigger body - So get small prints shirts to make yourself look smaller!






Tip 5: Wear A-line skirts over ruffled ones! 
A-line skirts will help provide an illusion of a slim waist while ruffled ones will create an image of a bulky lower body. This is something you wanna avoid - So say no to the princess skirts!

For "The Slim"
Tip 1: Wear layered clothing!
Layering will help add fullness to your body and yes, Singapore may be really hot for too much layering but you can always wear thin layers! Simply adding a vest/jacket over your T-shirt can make you look like you're in a much better shape :)


 

Tip 2: Boost your bust with ruffles
Wear tops with ruffles at the front so as to appear bustier ;) This makes you look more girly and confident!

 


Tip 3: Avoid V-neck shirts at all costs!
V-neck tops will look too "pointy" and thus enhance your vertical lines. Round and square necks are recommended as it looks less sharp and will create a less harsh and enhanced look.


     

Tip 4: Skinny jeans are a big NO!
Skinny jeans and tight fitting pants in general will make your slim legs look even more bony. On the other hand, loose fitting pants will create an illusion of a fuller shape.




Tip 5: Padded shoulders 
Skinny girls have really bony shoulders so all of you slim girls -- Stock your closet up with some cute tops with padded shoulders! The padding will definitely help in hiding your bony lines and create an illusion of a more 'fleshy' shoulders! ;)
